Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Candlefall (the “Game”). By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

Licence to play

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the App Store's terms of service.

Purchases

The Game offers one optional in-app purchase, “Candlefall Pro,” a one-time, non-consumable unlock. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You may restore a previous purchase from within the Game. Refunds are handled by Apple in line with its refund policy; we are not able to issue App Store refunds directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, redistribute, resell, or attempt to extract the source, assets, or puzzle solutions of the Game, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

Intellectual property

The Game and all of its content — including its code, artwork, text, puzzles, music, and the name and mark “Candlefall” — are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright and other laws. No rights are granted to you except the limited licence to play described above.

No warranty

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Game. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence.
